There are a variety of funding schemes available to support researchers at PhD and postdoctoral level available in Ireland and internationally. Please get in contact if you are interested in opportunities to apply with the PSB group. No need to send a full proposal at this stage but please do indicate why you are specifically interested in making an application to work with us and we can take it from there if suitable. Please note we will ignore generic/mass emailed/obvious LLM-slop enquiries.

I submit project titles when a call goes out but I also am happy to support interesting ideas in the general areas of plant biology (particularly belowground!), sustainability and data/technology applications to both.
We also often host paid internships in the group over the summer. These depend on needs and available funds, and we have hosted both biologists and engineers. Typically these are advertised to TCD students, but rare exceptions can be made for a particularly good fit.
